Henry golding and michelle yeoh in a movie together again? HELL YES AHAHAHAHAH. Sugar gliders are very cute but also extremely high maintenance. They can live 10-15 years if taken care of correctly. Many people treat them like hamsters and they live only a couple years, which is why they are illegal in some places. Their health and diet need to be constantly monitored with daily fresh food, they require a lot of attention and a lot of space. If you get a single one instead of a pair their loneliness will heavily impact their health. They are also nocturnal and stay up all night screaming. I love mine, but when people ask me if they should get some I always tell them NO. Not unless you want a huge 10-15 year commitment. There are disgusting companies that sell them as "Pocket Pets, " advertising them as good gifts for small children that can survive on a diet of pellets. Do not trust anything that uses the phrase "Pocket Pets" or "sugar bears" (related). If you or someone you know is even thinking about getting a sugar glider do not do it casually, do as much reading as you can first. EDIT: I'm getting a lot of joke comments that it doesn't matter because nobody is going to see Dolittle. Yes, I understand that you and your adult friends think it looks bad. Small children, historically, do not check the Rotten Tomatoes score before deciding whether to go see a movie with cute animals who talk funny. The box office right now is around $90 million dollars, even if it ultimately loses money because it sucks a lot of kids are still clearly going to see it.

If you haven’t watched the film it’s definitely something to laugh at on Netflix. It’s bad. It’s utterly amazing that THIS is RDJ’s passion project. That Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes were put on the backburner for this. Iron Man 4 could have been made. Sherlock Holmes 3 was delayed. To put it in one sentence- the film has a dragon enema. level 2 He just whispers everything is a weird, Sherlock Holmes-but not really accent level 1 I watched it in the theater with my little siblings; I made sure I got a seat next to the wall so I’d have something to beat my head against level 1 it is also a reference to its box office performance prediction level 1 That image looks like it would be one of the promos at the start of Tropic Thunder. level 1 Ill still give it a watch first i think. There has been criticism way before it released, So i gotta see whats circlejerk and whats actually true level 2 Same. DOLITTLE stars Robert Downey, Jr. as a famous, reclusive doctor who embarks on a magical odyssey -- with the help of a crew of talking animals -- to find a cure to save an ill Queen Victoria ( Jessie Buckley) in 19th-century England. Based on Hugh Lofting's Newbery Prize-winning 1922 novel The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle, this take on the classic children's story boasts a star-studded cast, including Tom Holland, Selena Gomez, Emma Thompson, Rami Malek, Kumail Nanjiani, John Cena, Octavia Spencer, and more. Is it any good? Dolittle is a bit like doctor-ordered medicine: Some moments may have you holding your nose, but it does the trick. Despite pulling out all the stops with an A-list, award-winning crew (including Syriana director/writer Stephen Gaghan, Pan's Labyrinth cinematographer Guillermo Navarro, composer Danny Elfman, and more), the first family film from Team Downey -- the production company Downey Jr. runs with his wife, producer Susan Downey -- is just OK. It's not hysterical, but it's funny enough: Laughs come from a squid who refuses to talk by saying "snitches get stitches" and a sight gag in which a dog scoots his rear across the room. The messages are positive but unlikely to be transformative -- although gorilla Chee Chee's constant self-encouragements are pretty great ("I'm not a prisoner of fear! It's OK to be scared! "). The menagerie of animals and the resulting slapstick pandemonium is just too much at once -- so many characters, so many animals, so much yelling, so much craziness. And on the other side of things is Dolittle himself. Specifically, his voice. Dolittle speaks with a strong Welsh accent that doesn't feel like it belongs to Downey Jr. : The texture, resonance, and intonation don't match the voice of the Iron Man actor we know so well. Compounding that disconnect is his too-rich audio quality -- it almost sounds like it was recorded in a voice-over booth and dubbed in. Perhaps that voice is just Downey's own creative spin on a Victorian English character, and perhaps a decision was made to have him voice his part in a sound booth to match that of the actors providing the animals' voices. And Downey's mannerisms and facial expressions are certainly consistent with the trademark style that audiences love. But the sum of these things creates an uncanny valley that may be too distracting for some adults, even if kids don't notice or care. Dolittle is unlikely to resonate for as long as Lofting's novels have, but it does provide a couple of hours of decent family entertainment, and sometimes that's enough. Talk to your kids about... Families can talk about how Dolittle and his crew of friends and animals demonstrate teamwork. How were they able to overcome the villains who wanted to stop or hurt them? How did Dr. Dolittle and Stubbins talk to the animals? How can we communicate with animals, and what's the value in that? How many different ways do we see the characters dealing with loss? People see Robert Downey Jr. as particular roles and not just because of his very presence. level 2 You mean people see Iron-Man because he is Iron-Man, not because of who is playing the guy? level 2 Eddie Murphy lost his fastball around 1992 and changed to a knuckleballer with family films in 1996. He had lots of flops 1990-2007. By the time he did Nutty Professor, the Eddie Murphy name in itself wasn’t a draw. It was Eddie Murphy in a film set-up people could be sold on. For every Nutty Professor or Doctor Dolittle, there was a Holy Man or I Spy. level 2 When a movie is terrible, nobody will show up. 2002 was a rough year for Eddie Murphy. He was here in the 1990s filming Restoration at Caerphilly Castle and in 2016 he wished Wales good luck in the Euros in a video for pupils at Christ College in Brecon. ".

I’m sure all of you are aware, but this movie has had a pretty substantial advertising campaign over the last month or two. However, I have yet to hear a single iota of discussion about it on social media or in public with children or adults. A Forbes Article published in April says Dolittle would have to earn $438 million globally to not be considered a loss. In my opinion, it seems like it’s destined to fail, unless it’s a truly good movie and gains hype through conversation after it’s released. I’d be interested to hear if anyone else had an opinion on this, or if anyone even cares enough about the project to have an opinion.
Of course Tom Holland is in it 😂. This was a really good movie of cource it had its problems but it was a great cast, great story and i had a blast. It is not something you have to watch but if you went to The movies this is a good choice.

This isent typically about the mcu but what are everybody thoughts on RDJ finally doing something different and becoming the new Doctor Dolittle? I absolutely love this considering it brings back some nostalgic memories but also because RDJ is a great actor. Yet he decides to only play in a bunch of mediocre movies for a bunch of brainwashed kids and cult like fanbase. Not saying Dr. Dolittle won't be terrible either because it could end up sucking but it's honestly one of the better things I've heard in a while. Edit: Damn guess nobody likes Dr. Dolittle in these comments welp that's a bit heartbreaking. That's fine overall it's y'all's opinion. Level 1 Aladdin's social media buzz was also negative and it still earned a billion. By that I don't mean it will overperfom like Aladdin but I think it will earn around $350M to $450M WW. level 2 Comparing Aladdin with this is really not possible. level 1 Too early to tell, but I feel like this one is going to pull an Alita. It'll make a decent chunk of change, but not nearly enough to make it profitable enough for the sequels the execs had hoped for. Maybe it gets great reviews and ends up as something like Jumanji or The Jungle Book though.... I dunno. level 2 I think it will flat out bomb. level 2 It has an insane budget.
